India GST Revenue: India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue for January 2024 has surged to ₹1,72,129 crore, reflecting an impressive 10.4% Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) growth.
This marks the second-highest monthly collection ever and the third instance in the fiscal year 2023-24 where collections have exceeded ₹1.70 lakh crore.

With a cumulative gross GST collection of ₹16.69 lakh crore for the ten-month period from April 2023 to January 2024, there is a robust 11.6% Y-o-Y growth.

Noteworthy settlements include ₹43,552 crore to Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) and ₹37,257 crore to State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) from the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) collection.
