At the rear, the Comet showcases connecting LED taillights and rides on 12-inch aerodynamically designed wheels. The car is available in five attractive color options – Apple Green with Black Roof, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, Candy White, and Candy White with Black Roof.

Powering the MG Comet is a 17.3kWh battery pack, which boasts IP67-rated water and dust resistance. It is paired with a single electric motor that delivers 42hp of power and 110Nm of torque. The battery offers an ARAI-certified range of 230km on a full charge, making it suitable for day-to-day urban commuting.

In terms of features, the Comet offers a white and grey interior layout, dominated by two 10.25-inch screens. One screen serves as the infotainment system, while the other functions as the digital instrument cluster. Additional features include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, a rotary drive selector, keyless entry, steering-mounted controls, over 55 connected features, ABS, EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), reverse camera, reverse sensors, and dual front airbags.Suniel Shetty’s decision to embrace electric mobility by purchasing the MG Comet highlights the growing popularity and acceptance of EVs in India.
